week 2-1

Today, I introduce “The ABC Murders” to you. To tell the truth, this book is not only my favorite book but also the first detective book I read.Although I had never read mystery, I became fan of detective story since I was really surprised at this end.

Do you know a famous detective named Hercule Poirot? He is a main character in books written by Agatha Christie. In this story, four people are killed by a certain rule strangely and an ABC Railway Guide found beside their body. The police arrested a doubtful man and everyone regard these matters as settlement case. However, Poirot thinks a man is not a criminal and he deduces amasing result. Finally,he found out a new criminal.

  1. I remember reading Agatha Christie's novels when I was in elementary school. I think I read "The ABC Murders" too but I don't remember much about it. Your posting made me want to pick up her books again and read them through..except I don't currently have much time for my pleasure reading (the semester is ending soon and I'm loaded with assignments!) Maybe I'll read them while on the Christmas vacation:)
